Spicy Tuna Tostadas
Babes, put this on a platter to share and it will disappear. I love a small bite. It whets the appetite and keeps you excited for what’s to follow. This one has loads of freshness and contrasting textures that are crunchy and bold. And they look STUNNING. You can make these tostadas with your favourite raw seafood. Mine is tuna. Assemble as your guests arrive, and pair with a margarita or two.
Before You Begin
The creamy guac mixture can be made up to 1 day ahead of serving. For storage, ensure that the plastic wrap is directly on the surface of the mixture to minimise oxidisation and browning. This recipe serves a group, obviously you’ll eat more than just one tostada so feel free to stretch the recipe depending on how you like to load up your tostadas.
1. Guac: Blitz up all the Guac ingredients. Taste and adjust seasoning. Keep covered and cool
2. Spicy tuna: Combine all Spicy tuna ingredients. Taste and adjust seasoning. Keep covered and cool.
3. Assembling: Spoon 1-2 tbsp of the Guac on each corn chip, spooning the tuna mixture on top garnishing with sliced jalapeno, black sesame seeds, and coriander.
4. Serve immediately.
